The Heinz ketchup spec commercials I completed three weeks ago have not qualified as a semi-finalist in the TopThis TV contest (a mistake in my opinion!!), and therefore will not be airing on National TV (YET!!!). There is still a possibility you will be able to see the commercials on TV, however, I cannot release any additional information at this point- so check back soon! In the meantime, the commercials are still viewable from their YouTube links in the previous post, but are now also linked from the video page of my website: http://www.johnhermann.com/demo.html.

I have once again teamed up with Michael Halper of Ascentia Films, and we are now in pre-production of a short horror film titled HAUNTED. I will be acting alongside Pia Pownall, and will be playing two roles in this film: one as the supporting lover, and the other as the mysterious and dangerous villain! In addition to my acting in the film, I will also earn my first credit as a Producer, as Michael and I are teaming up in all aspects of this production.

I have just completed work on two 30-second spec commercials for Heinz Ketchup. The commercials are part of the TopThis TV contest sponsored by Heinz, and can be viewed on YouTube at the links below. I co-wrote and starred in both commercials, and am hoping one (or both!) of them make the top 5, in which case they would air on National TV!
